In the capital, Monarchia, she reconnects with a friend who has already proven himself willing to withstand punishment to help her. With more tragic deaths happening each day, the king and queen believe Emmy may hold the key to Pletonia’s survival. The monsters are after her. Will she live long enough to find out?
